OPD_05: researcher launchpad - group activity. What a PhD journey is ?

We were asked to work in groups and visually depict our collective understanding of what a PhD journey is...

Our group idea below...
including a telescope to 'see the bigger picture' and to also point towards oneself, a micro-scope to focus on detail, Indiana Jones (my input!) who is walking towards the unknown and the path appears depending on his point-of-view, stand-point and adjustment...and the Holy Grail (goal) that he is aiming for....
