"More Than Meets The Eye" Animated VR Experience

Beginning to collate codes to identify potential sub-themes. I think that ideas are becoming too convergent too quickly. Going to allow ideas to soak and percolate and to focus on being divergent.... to be continued....

Phase 3: Searching for themes. Collated all sub-themes from previous slides, including freehand ideas and selected which sub-themes correlated with which research question. In the process, the original third research question " How can animation, viewed in virtual reality, represent the perceptual-experiences of art-practitioners with sight-loss and promote awareness of blind art-practice?"  was adjusted to reflect the sub-themes identified during phase 3. New research question  How do the perceptual-experiences of artists, with sight-loss, influence and shape creative practice?  Two main potential themes searched for and identified today: Negative Experience - only functional sight is important Positive Experience - sight-loss as a creative advantage

Continuation of combining codes into sub-themes. A teams video call with my second supervisor, Fraser Bruce, to check that I'd not entered into a rabbit hole of nonsense themes... Notes: (note for myself: review all previous slides created during data coding to explore all summaries that could become potential sub-themes, candidate themes or overarching themes) Fraser: It may be that some themes are identified, but that I choose to not pursue that route. If so, I can become scholarly and signpost the reader to articles and papers relating to that theme Revisit my literature review in my upgrade document (and other literature subsequently reviewed)  How will I know which themes to focus on? Iteration 4 - coding Memo 01.  Began with collating semantic codes into the potential sub-themes identified in iterations 2 & 3 (coding memos 12 and 13). See below for progression of iteration 4...
