Tasks set and completed since last meeting:
·         Design Journal PhD report submitted to Chris Lim for consideration
·         Ethics approval obtained
·         Scotland Disclosure Obtained
·         Identified British Association for Film, Television and Screen Studies – April 2020 St Andrews
PhD poster. Poster commenced
·         Concept art commenced
·         Life Drawing classes
·         Met with Laura-Jane Medical Art Masters student. Interested in being involved with project
·         Confirmation from all three blind participants that they are on board

·         OPD  - 12th November. How to Write a Great Research Paper, and Get it Accepted by a Good Journal
·         OPD – 12th December – Complete Researcher year 2
·         Teaching MSc Animation & VFX and Undergraduate VFX module
·         PhD rep for Ethics Committee

·         PhD expo registered at DJCAD on January 17th 2020
Planned and in Progress:
·         Contacted Aaron, David and Sally – aiming to conduct semi-structured interviews in January (participant forms, consent forms to be sent in advance).
·         Research trip planned 18th – 26th January how to conduct semi-structured interview
·         Contacted RNIB to discuss Public Engagement event in Spring 2020
·         Contact VocalEyes to give update on upgrade
·         Contacted Hannah Thompson with update on upgrade. Waiting to hear from her
·         Contact Fiona Fyffe-Lawson re booking Matthew level 5 space for spring 2020
·         Structure thesis and continue writing. 200 words a week.

·         thesis argument “Animation created and viewed in virtual-reality can allow sighted people to experience, appreciate and understand the practice of blind artists.”
