This phase began with collating the sub-themes. The process of collating them out of context, allowed objective review, to see if the sub-themes stand alone. The sub-themes are now collated together and the next step will be to apply them to the research questions.

First training session in the HTC Vive VR room at the Medical Institute, University of Dundee Dr. Caroline Erolin - HTC Vive in the Medical Institute at University of Dundee HTC Vive headset To get acclimatised to using VR, Caroline suggested looking around some landscapes, starting with 360 degree, rather than fully immersive VR beach...With an intense dislike of geodesic domes and cavernous interiors this seemed like a great idea! Progressing into interiors, Caroline introduced me to the LAB within Steam  .. https://store.steampowered.com/ , where there was an option to enter into a 'game-like' environment, pick up a bow and arrow and shoot at soldiers. Process and flow of coding ideas: Began by scanning the verbatim extracts identified in coding memo 003 and dragged and dropped into the cognitive thought slide. Moved onto latent codes and resumed transcript at approx. 08:00 minutes in. Awareness of senses of scale, vertiginous height in bright contrast areas could imply safety, and travelling whilst drawing on the escalator into the dark abyss is dangerous. Where dangerous or not in bright light, there is safety in drawing from memory. Considering verbatim extracts that imply independence, confidence or lack of and being unobtrusive. Protection in a herded commuter crowd – as a lone person not going with the flow causes delay to the group. Colour coded verbatim extracts in the scale, light, dark, height category in bright orange, in reference to the Glasgow clockwork orange colours used.
